Where the facts come from

Product facts (capacity, what is in the box, the lid, the straw, how to wash it) come from our product descriptions and the size panels in our photos. Prices come from our scheduled catalog update.

Public sources

Our guides lean on public agencies and national organizations: the FDA, the CDC, the EPA and the American Burn Association. Every source is opened and read before a sentence cites it, and the date we read it is printed with it.

Ratings and photos

The star rating and the number of ratings on a product come from shoppers at our retail partner, as of our last update. Colors and pack sizes of one glass share a pool of ratings, and we count each pool once.

Some of our lifestyle photos of people using the glasses are generated images. The glasses in them are ours, and the packshots on white show each product as it ships.
